FMCI offers a qualitative, hands-on training program called Immersion, which focuses on the 3D animation production pipeline, including Character Animation, Look Development, and Visual Effects.

The duration of each training batch is 4 months of rigorous practical training.

It is mandatory to have familiarity with operating systems and basic computing.

As some of the world's top animators are women, we encourage females to take their rightful place and provide them with the necessary support and encouragement.

Primarily, the initiative targets youths residing in Port Harcourt who are from the Niger Delta region. However, in cases where youths from across Nigeria display exceptional abilities, exceptions can be made.

Definitely. Candidates who frequently miss training sessions are at risk of forfeiting their spot, as 100% attendance is mandatory.

This matter is only discussed internally and is dependent on reaching a consensus.

FMCI's Immersion training program for each stream is planned to last for 4 months. As a result, the application portal for new entries will be accessible two months before the end of each stream. We recommend that the public familiarize themselves with the website sections that are relevant to their requirements.

At FMCI, the faculty recognizes that the journey to learning animation is steep and arduous, and we do not deny this fact. As a result, we provide extracurricular activities that enable candidates to engage with high schools, polytechnics, universities, and other institutions.

1. For advanced and experienced users of Maya, our primary 3D animation software for Immersion!, Autodesk Certifications are highly recommended. Candidates are encouraged to pursue certification when they feel prepared to do so.

2. Our curriculum, covering Character Animation, Look Development, and Visual Effects, is licensed and endorsed by reputable agencies that are relevant to the industry and with whom we are affiliated.

This program is designed for individuals aged 18-35 who have a professional interest in learning about building a career in the animation and visual effects industry.

While having a background in digital arts or arts is advantageous, it is not mandatory.

As per the World Economic Forum, LinkedIn, and Forbes, 3D animation is considered a highly in-demand skill.

Certainly! The original purpose of the program is to facilitate synergy, networking, and collaboration among candidates since it takes a team with specialized skills to "create magic." The faculty is available to provide support to both current and past candidates.

Unfortunately, the program has limited spots, and competition is high. Hence, any unclaimed spots will be offered to other candidates. However, the candidate may reapply in the future, but it does not guarantee a spot in the program.
